Off to See the Wizard

Last night was my first visit to the wizard, the wonderful wizard of tattoo removal, AKA the Certified Licensed Laser Technician at MEDermis, to see if she could grant my wish of removing my colorful work of art.  During my consultation, she mentioned this was the most ink she had ever seen in a tattoo.  I’m guessing this is because most people who commit to getting inked over and over in the same spot don’t visit people like her.  Anyway, my wish was granted, and the painful journey of Butterfly ~ Bye-Bye began.

OUCH!!  That’s really the only word I can find to describe what the laser felt like.   Maybe it could be described as getting the most sensitive area tattooed, with a thousand tiny needles that are on fire.  Yes, fire!  It burns, literally. 

These pictures were taken immediately after, 8 hours later when the bandage was removed, and the next morning.   Who's got the over/under on how long it takes that blister to pop?
